I ended my crazy school year with 34 kids in a 4/5 class! I wanted to have Mike Holmes show up and put on an addition! I have to say that I probably had some of the easiest going kids who really worked together! I thank my lucky stars for such a great group to be scrunched into a room with!
Moving on to next year's group....
Big changes for me! In June, I moved rooms, and divisions for this coming year. I was ready for change and I jumped in with both feet! I am moving to a 1/2 split. There will only be 20 kids....NOT 34! I am very excited to work with
This summer I am reading about inquiry in science and social studies. I am also trying to stop obsessing about my new classroom. There is so much to do! I am right beside the office and I even have my own personal door to the new Principal's office! I will have to post pictures of my empty room as our custodian is fantastic and keeps our school the cleanest school I have ever worked in!
Look for my before photos coming soon! My classroom needs a DIY! I keep thinking paint those cork boards and rip down that old wallpaper! Stay tuned!!!
